𝐍𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐍𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬

From Wikipedia, bullying is the use of force, coercion, hurtful teasing or threat, to abuse, aggressively dominate or intimidate.

It is common knowledge that bullying often occurs in real life such as when we are working or we are studying in a school. The form of this bullying is usually involves threats to be beaten or to break the victim’s top secret if the victim doesn't want to follow the bully’s instructions or wishes, such as finish their work or school assignments, cover their expenses at school or worst like be their slave for a certain period of time.

Nowadays, bullying can happen anywhere by using the social media, Internet etc. For example, the bully writes negative comments or ridicule comments, such as "You are just a copycat from other people contents" against the victim's sharing on social media so that other social media users also mock the victim of bullying. This bullying situation is called "cyberbullying"

Cyberbullying means the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.

In my life, I have never been bullied or bullying other people (hope you haven’t either, but if you have, I pray you’ll be kept away from it). Still, I have some friends who have been bullied by others in my life. Most of them are bullied because of their physicality as well as their reticent attitude that considered weak by the bully.

As a caring society, we must take this bullying matter as a serious matter because it will affect the feelings and mentality of the victim of bullying. We can help the bully's victim by giving them a positive spirit to move on and report the bully's actions to authorities or counselor. This action can help us to prevent more people from experiencing depression after being bullied.

I want to share with you some steps to take if you are being bullied by someone;

Firstly, tell and express your problems to trusted people such as your parents, teachers or close friends. Remember to tell the true and whole story on how you get bullied by the bully. Then, get some help or advice from them on how to prevent you from being bullied in the future. After that, you must follow their positive advice, keep practicing on it and keep your mental health from negative stress. (Note: do not retaliate with violence as well as it will worsen the situation).

Most of people only become a bystander when someone is bullied because they scared of the risk to be a victim of the bully as well. We must avoid being the bystander by collaborating with people around us to stop the bully from bullying as two heads are better than one. This action makes the bully afraid to fight us back as our number of people is more than the bully's group member.

We can conclude that we must help each other in order to keep our society peace and harmony, not only in this bullying matter, but also in the other social problems. It is our responsibility to keep our physically and mentally health in a good condition as well as others. Therefore, say "NO" to bully and spread the good vibes to others.

Sincerely,
Nur Ainin Sofiya
