In order to run an organization or community, a particular individual will be needed to be the chief. Apart from that, this particular person may come from various ages which can lead since their school days.
The thing is, most of us might not aware about the slightly different two types of chief that can be titled, which is boss and leader.
A boss is an individual who is in charge of the organization. He is someone who takes control over employees, orders assign tasks and duties to them. In a company there is no term called ‘boss’, but the word indicates a person who is the owner of the organization.
A leader is an individual who has the ability to influence and leads others by example. He is someone who holds a dominant position with a vision and stays committed to his goal.
Based on the picture above, I think you might have guess what is the most obvious differences between 'Boss' and 'Leader'.
Let me list out the difference between both title that you should alert and take note ;
- A boss gives commands while a leader listens and speaks.
We all know bosses commands, give orders and never listen. However, leaders always listen to the opinions of their colleagues and support them to work for the organization betterment.
- A boss expects big results. A leader is generous with praise.
Boss always expects big results and accepts only good work. While a leader is a person who appreciates your small achievement and also gives you constructive criticism whenever necessary. A leader could understands the obstacles that you have to face in order to achieve the certain goal.
- A boss gives answers. A leader seeks solutions.
Boss doesn't like to think and work hard if he wants to overcome the problems. A leader guides his employees to grow and develop problem-solving abilities and other skills that add value to a company.
- Bosses cause nervousness. Leaders inspire confidence.
This is the most important difference between the boss and the leader. Bosses are never get easily satisfied with their employees hardworking results and might have a high demanding behaviour even though they didn't even try to put themselves in the employee's position. Leaders never underestimate their colleagues achievement and lend their hands to improve it.
To sum up, I highly encourage all my readers to Be A Leader, Not A Boss. Show your best leadership qualities so that you could live in a respectful and outstanding life. I think that's all I could give my perspective on this topic for this time being. Stay tune for other appealing issues from my blog !
Online shopping is popular among people around the world
nowadays. Shopee, Lazada, Zalora and many more are several online shopping
sites that are well-known in Malaysia. Many people visit this sites either to
search their needed items or just for window shopping. However, there are also
many people that more prefer to shop physically at the shopping outlet such as
Aeon, Mid Valley, Paradigm Mall and so on. This raises the question as to
whether shopping online is saving more money than shopping physically or
otherwise.
There are strong reasons to say that online shopping can
save our money a lot. First of all, every month, there will be a promotion
provided by online shopping websites such as Shopee 10.10 Brands Festival
whereby there are certain products that will be having a discount and offers
such as 10% rebate if you spend RM 10 and above for the product. This offer
will have a specific duration such as 1st October till 10th
October so that it will attract people to buy items via the shopping websites
in this fixed duration. Secondly, some shop’s seller in the shopping websites
will offer some interesting and attractive offers for the buyers such as buy
10, free 1 or collect 100 online points when you buy items over RM 100 and
redeem the collected with other product in the same shop.
On the other hand, the add-on of postage fee for items that
we buy might change our thought about saving money by shopping online. For your
information, the minimum postage that will be charged on every item that we buy
is RM 4.90. For example, if we buy an item that only costs RM 0.80, the total
amount of money that we should pay can reached RM 5.70! That is such a huge
amount to be pay just for one cheap item. Other than that, the seller might
increase the prices of certain items to be sell on shopping websites so that
they can get more lucrative profits while we as the buyers have to pay for the
price.
To sum up, I think we should spend our money wisely to save
up the money. We should make a budget calculation, compare the prices between
the stores and take note the offer deal’s date so that we could buy more items
for the cheapest price. So, online shopping can save our money as long as we make a
right action when buying some items.
You must be wondering, why Syahmi Sazli and his production team are my favorite social media influencers?
Its all started in 2019, when my big family (my mum's family) and I went on vacation at the end of the year. My eldest aunt shared with us about his (Syahmi Sazli) funny short drama on YouTube. It was the first time for me to know Syahmi Sazli.
After that moment, my family and I started to watch his funny video on YouTube, which is commonly starring by Asif Suhaimi and Yoe Parey (Ashrul). Even though they use spontaneous dialogue as they are persons with different abilities, their acting is very good as we can get the meaning of the story in the video. Their dialogue can be hilarious, especially when they try to give a 'pickup line' to ladies.
This can be a proof that everyone can achieve success even though we have different abilities and skills from others. It encourage me to believe that I can achieve my dream too if I have a high determination and confident on my abilities.
Besides, my family and I love to watch their videos as they speak in Kelantan dialect, which my parents use to speak up in their daily life as Kelantan is their hometown (place of origin). Yes, we proud of him 😏.
Thank you for reading my blog !
Dictionary :
'Parey' means parang(in Malay), which is the reason of Yoe being called as 'Yoe Parey' is his family sell 'keropok ikan parang' in Kelantan.
From Wikipedia, bullying is the use of force, coercion, hurtful teasing or threat, to abuse, aggressively dominate or intimidate.
It is common knowledge that bullying often occurs in real life such as when we are working or we are studying in a school. The form of this bullying is usually involves threats to be beaten or to break the victim’s top secret if the victim doesn't want to follow the bully’s instructions or wishes, such as finish their work or school assignments, cover their expenses at school or worst like be their slave for a certain period of time.
Nowadays, bullying can happen anywhere by using the social media, Internet etc. For example, the bully writes negative comments or ridicule comments, such as "You are just a copycat from other people contents" against the victim's sharing on social media so that other social media users also mock the victim of bullying. This bullying situation is called "cyberbullying".
Cyberbullying means the use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.
In my life, I have never been bullied or bullying other people (hope you haven’t either, but if you have, I pray you’ll be kept away from it). Still, I have some friends who have been bullied by others in my life. Most of them are bullied because of their physicality as well as their reticent attitude that considered weak by the bully.
As a caring society, we must take this bullying matter as a serious matter because it will affect the feelings and mentality of the victim of bullying. We can help the bully's victim by giving them a positive spirit to move on and report the bully's actions to authorities or counselor. This action can help us to prevent more people from experiencing depression after being bullied.
I want to share with you some steps to take if you are being bullied by someone;
Firstly, tell and express your problems to trusted people such as your parents, teachers or close friends. Remember to tell the true and whole story on how you get bullied by the bully. Then, get some help or advice from them on how to prevent you from being bullied in the future. After that, you must follow their positive advice, keep practicing on it and keep your mental health from negative stress. (Note: do not retaliate with violence as well as it will worsen the situation).
Most of people only become a bystander when someone is bullied because they scared of the risk to be a victim of the bully as well. We must avoid being the bystander by collaborating with people around us to stop the bully from bullying as two heads are better than one. This action makes the bully afraid to fight us back as our number of people is more than the bully's group member.
We can conclude that we must help each other in order to keep our society peace and harmony, not only in this bullying matter, but also in the other social problems. It is our responsibility to keep our physically and mentally health in a good condition as well as others. Therefore, say "NO" to bully and spread the good vibes to others.
